With these funds, we were able to continue to meet the needs of our 16 Partner Agencies, help the elderly and disabled through our Day of Caring, as well as partner in new ways with our local school districts.
In August, we held a Back to School Fair for Borger ISD. We were able to provide school supplies, hygiene products, haircuts, athletic physicals, dental screening, ID Kits, shoes, clothing, anything else that might ease the burden of expense that comes with the start of school.
He attributed the Back to School Fair as one of the reasons for this ease in the first week of school.
Even though Fritch and Stinnett were not able to provide the Fair for their communities, we provided school supplies to those students who needed them.
